I run Cross Country and Track for Kiski Area, a District 7 AAA school. Right now I am a Senior. I lost my Sophomore CC season in 2005 because I broke my foot in gym class. Then I broke my foot again due to a stress fracture during my junior year. This year, though, I've been healthy throughout the whole season. Finally, after two years of bad luck, I qualified to run in the PIAA state championship meet at the WPIAL finals.
Our team is looking very good this year. We have a handful of solid varsity upperclassmen runners: Nick, Alex, Matt, and myself. We all want to make it to states this year. We ended up beating Central Catholic again, a tremendous accomplishment for us.

Here is a video I found of the fastest heat of the 800m run at Baldwin Invitational, the largest single day high school track meet in the U.S. They run the fast heats at night under the stadium lights. You can see me racing to the left of the pack at around 0:46 into the video.
Here is a video highlighting the 2007 WPIAL cross country championships at Cooper's Lake, where I PRed and qualified for the PIAA state championships.
Here is the 2006 Prefontaine Classic 2 Mile race. Adam Goucher and Dan Lincoln run 8:12 and 8:13. The end of the race was very good.
Somebody uploaded the David Wottle video on Youtube. This is a must watch video for all track athletes -- the biggest comeback I've ever seen and the most underrated Olympic performance! Just watch the guy with the hat...
I found this one of Paul Springer winning the Indoor State Mile this year. Every high school runner in PA knows who he is...
